Mari Smith talks to Marketing Professor about False Ideas on Social Media!

Great interview between Travis Campbell of Marketing Professor and Mari Smith! If you are wondering about social media, you really deserve to get to know Mari Smith. She is a master of Social media and has taught me so much about what I now know about using social media.

Clare,

So glad you shared this interview with Mari. She is a true guru on Social Media and a great friend. And we totally agree with what Mari said about what it means to be involved in Social Media and connecting with your customers.

Thanks Clare,
~ Pat and Lorna

Many thanks for your kind words, Clare! You rock! :) It was a pleasure connecting with Travis and doing this interview (up in Loveland, CO!)

Great video! Mari is spot on. Social media is about building relationships and not about the quick sale. I found social media to be great for connecting with my audience and to get feedback. Social media is great for joint ventures, alliances, and strategic partnerships.

What a great interview. Mari always has good info. It amazes me how many people still have not understood that the revolution is that the hunted are now the hunters. The consumer/ customer etc now has the information and the lists of the best out there. They are informed so if you are not being present and still think you can sell them with a false presence you are missing the boat. Mari does it with so much fun and flair too.

Hi Clare,
I thought this was interesting. I am not to familiar with either of these people so I think I'll take your advise! LOL! And get to know and learn from them. Thanks…
